Time really should slow down!!!!

This is ridiculous. My batch that is an AP showed me my travel itinerary for when I go home. It blows.

I almost got stopped by the adversary this week! But I won! I got a nasty cold a few weeks ago and haven't totally gotten over it. I've been trying to drink lots of water and get rid of it, but I forgot my water one day and that's all it needed. So on Wednesday we had Exchanges with the Assistants and Elder Erickson made me go to the Dr. So I went and he just gave me a bunch of drugs and we'll see if I get better. But that's not the funny part. On Wednesday, I lost my voice totally. The investigators were laughing at me. But we didn't really get to teach a lot that night.

The next day we had exchanges in Morong and I had to pray really hard that my voice would come back, guess what! It did! Miracles that come through prayer never cease to amaze me. Although a little weak still, I was able to talk and to teach. Then the next day I had to go do 2 baptismal interviews, on Friday it was the holiday called Mahal na araw. Its where the Catholics take and beat themselves on the back with bamboo and it put cuts in their backs so that its bleeds, its all supposed to be in representation of the Atonement, then they have people that nail themselves to crosses and all sorts of stuff like that. Its a pretty gruesome sight. It makes me sad to see. I only saw the people carrying crosses around and whipping themselves. I didn't see anyone getting nailed to any crosses.

We finally got Faustino Family to commit to baptism. We were so excited for them. On May 21st they will be baptized if not sooner. We are worried a little about sister. I think she is a little nervous about moving religions. We heard that she gets bored at church so she really needs an assignment or a calling but she's got to get baptized first. Brother is so ready and so are their kids. One of the blessings that he has received because he has been showing his faith to the Lord is he got called to go abroad to Singapore. We are excited for him.

We taught this new investigator on Saturday, first lesson.  At the end of the lesson we asked him to pray for us.  It was crazy, he really wasn't very sure of how to pray but we patiently taught him how to, then when he did it was such a great prayer.  The spirit came in so strong while he was praying.  Then after a little pause after we had said Amen, I asked him what he was feeling. He said that its like there was something big inside of him, and like all his cares were gone.  We told him that was the spirit. It was great.

Well that's about all I can think about this week. We have ZLC this week and will be having some new zone leaders coming in. We are excited for them.

Love you all. Thank you for your support.
